Use the account region as the anchor
Find the country attached to the PlayStation account that will redeem the product. PlayStation Support says a voucher activates only when its region matches the account region, and an account’s country or region cannot be changed after creation.

Keep regional listings distinct
A US-labelled PlayStation Network product is a narrower choice than the multi-market PlayStation listing. Read the product name and selected market together so the cart reflects the choice you intended.
Confirm currency before denomination
After the market is set, check the face currency and available values. A converted display estimate is useful for comparison but is not the value credited by the product.
