- Receive and redeem the code.Sign in to the intended Microsoft account and use Microsoft’s Redeem Code flow.
- Use the account balance.Choose an eligible Xbox purchase available for that account and jurisdiction.
Giftlano adds no service fee until February 2027. The product face value remains separate from Bitcoin network fees.
Account balance can cover part of an eligible purchase
Microsoft says another registered payment method can cover the remainder when non-promotional account balance is insufficient for an eligible purchase. The gift-card balance cannot be converted to another currency.

Does Microsoft receive my Bitcoin?
In this flow, Bitcoin pays Giftlano for the gift-card product. Microsoft receives the redeemed code through its account flow, not a native Bitcoin payment at Microsoft Store checkout.
Does an Xbox gift card guarantee a Game Pass purchase?
No. Stored value and Game Pass are different product types, and eligible purchases depend on the participating store, account jurisdiction and exact product.
Can I use another crypto network with BTC?
Choose BTC on the Bitcoin network. Giftlano does not offer Bitcoin Lightning for this checkout.
