The first redeemed card creates a lasting country choice
EA says the country of the first redeemed EA Gift Card becomes the account’s designated Gift Card country. Later cards from other countries cannot be redeemed to that account. This makes the first purchase especially important.
EA Wallet has a defined PC-oriented scope
| Use named by EA | Scope to preserve |
|---|---|
| Digital game downloads | Eligible products through the EA app and EA.com. |
| EA Play memberships | EA lists memberships, but the exact account and offer must still be eligible. |
| Pogo products | EA limits this stated use to US residents. |
| Real-money items in EA PC games | Only items offered through the documented EA PC context. |
That list does not establish every Blizzard-like publisher service, console storefront or third-party game purchase. Confirm the live EA product before relying on Wallet balance.
Use the current EA name
“Origin card” may still appear in older catalogues or conversations. EA’s reviewed current guidance names EA Gift Card and EA Wallet. Treat an Origin-labelled SKU as a separate item whose current redemption route must be verified; do not silently map it to the modern product.
After the product and country match, crypto pays the Giftlano invoice. The delivered code is then redeemed through EA, and the recipient’s EA account does not need cryptocurrency.
EA Gift Cards and Wallet Balance bought with crypto questions
Does an EA Gift Card work for every EA account country?
No universal claim applies. Confirm the EA Wallet country and the exact product market before purchase.
Does paying Giftlano with crypto change EA Wallet rules?
No. Crypto settles the retailer invoice; EA controls account, currency and eligible-use rules.
